Settesoli has always paid careful attention to the social, environmental and cultural development of its local area.
Commitment to the environment encompasses the entire life cycle of the wine: from grape growing to distribution.
- 100% of waste and cardboard and 60% of glass is recycled.
Settesoli cares for the local economy and families.
- 70% of the families in the territory are involved with the winery’s business.
- 100% of the workers are locals during the harvest season.
- INTERNSHIP programs are available to help create jobs for future generations.
Settesoli currently has a fund raising program to preserve the Greco-Roman archaeological site in the city of Selinunte, the largest archeological site in Europe. This also attracts tourism, further increasing awareness of the area and growth of the local economy.
